Stitching magic into every piece

I'm Jen, and I have always loved all things needle and thread! I learned how to hand sew from a friend and I started making handmade stuffed animals in college. I moved on to aprons and simple bags. Now I'm a mom of two daughters and when my nine year-old expressed interest in sewing, I picked it back up and can't be stopped!

I learned to hand embroider and I was INSTANTLY hooked. There is something so charming about it. Every piece is different. I made a sweatshirt for myself and it definitely was NOT perfect, but people literally stopped me in the street and grocery store to ask me where I got it. A co-worker asked me to make her a Dodgers-inspired sweatshirt, and then I started making them for friends and family. I got so many requests for sweatshirts that I finally made an Etsy shop simply to keep track of all the orders!

Then someone asked if I could embroider pets. I wasn't sure if I could, but paired with an iPad + Procreate, I was able to make super sweet renditions of people's pets too. <3 Pets are probably my favorite -- I feel like I fall in love with them and get to know them as I'm stitching them. The first one I ever did was of our cat Rolo. He passed in 2023. When my husband opened his Rolo sweatshirt on Christmas, he cried, and he is not a crier!

I knew then that I was on to something special and that I wanted to devote my time to doing this. There is something so magical about creating something by hand!
